S\u00c3O PAULO, SP (FOLHAPRESS) – Jeremiah Green, fundador da banda de indie rock Modest Mouse, morreu neste s\u00e1bado (31) de c\u00e2ncer aos 45 anos. A banda fez o an\u00fancio ontem nas redes sociais.<\/p>\n

“N\u00e3o h\u00e1 forma f\u00e1cil de dizer isso: Hoje, n\u00f3s perdemos nosso querido amigo Jeremiah. Ele deitou para descansar e se foi”, disse a nota. “Acima de tudo, Jeremiah falava de amor. N\u00f3s amamos voc\u00eas”.<\/p>\n

O baterista fundou a Modest Mouse com o vocalista Isaac Brock em 1992. Em 2005, a banda foi nomeada para Grammy de Melhor \u00c1lbum de M\u00fasica Alternativa com “Good News For People Who Love Bad News”.
Gravado pela Epic Records, o \u00e1lbum tem 15 faixas, como “The World At Large”, “Ocean Breathes Salty” e “The Good Times Are Killing Me”.<\/p>\n

O baterista estava em tratamento de um c\u00e2ncer descoberto h\u00e1 pouco tempo. Segundo a pr\u00f3pria banda, Green estava melhorando e mantinha uma energia positiva em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 doen\u00e7a.<\/p>\n
